How we need to prepare

Happy New Year

Well we made it through the Mayan crisis. Personally, I put that down to all the prepping we did as a group so brownie points all around and we still have all the stores we put away so that as well as not dying it is a win which ever way you look at it there.

Personally, it has been a good year for me with the job and the family. I hope it has been good for you too. The site itself has done well with lots of new members and many more contributors although some, (takes off hat and lowers head), have fallen by the wayside over the last few months. I still get a massive amount of readers compared to contributors but have been very lucky with some good writers keeping the site interesting such as Lizzie, Lightspeed and Kenneth among others.

Here is hoping that this year goes well and that you all get to live comfortably whilst preparing for a very uncertain future.

Happy New Year to you all. Our best wishes are with you.

As a relatively new recruit to the ’cause’ I have to admit to being very much a reader and the maker of comments now and again. Also I am a bit of a jack of all trades and very much not a master of one – so articles might just be a bit of a problem.
However I do feel that this site is a good one and I very much look forward to the coming year.
Very many thanks to all concerned.

A very Happy and Prosperous New Year to all Preppers everywhere and particularly those of this site. Endeavour to search for more Good Deals and buy wisely. Bargains are available. Bulk buying can result in great savings as well. Think of Free Food, foods such as Dandelion and Burdock. Many other wild plants as well. If you have a garden and some free space plant some Wheat and Barley, A few loaves are better than none. I wish you all well, and now the festive season is over – back to the grind. Kenneth Eames.

Alll the best SD and the crowd on SUK its still the best UK based prepping forum by a huge margin, It cannot do anything but grow and flourish as more and more people become aware of the need to prep.

I’m trying to imagine you taking off a hat and lowering the head. 😉
