Its not just about having enough, its also about having the right stuff for what you think are the most likely events, you cant prep for every possible event, and the world is constantly changing, what was important to prep for last year may have diminished and your focus is now on a greater threat.

So try and remember to re-evaluate your preparations from time to time,...prepping is never finished, but it may change quite often

We also have gas masks, suits inc boots and gloves, but we are also very realistic, If the wind is in the right direction, and it doesn't last too long, we stand a chance, but no-one could grow very much, our polly tunnel might help, but I think that for this one threat, the best chance of survival would be to hope for outside help,...:), the one thing not many of us want to see.

Of course this equipment might also be used if there was ever a terrorist attack in the shape of a dirty bomb,.. now in that situation your NBC equipment would most likely be able to do the job, as that attack would have a much shorter duration

That is one thing I forgot to put in. They are usually quiet but the cluck when they get conserned about something. The louder the cluck the more the concern. So I ould see them being a bit of an alarm.

The guy I bought them from demonstrated that technique of calming them. Seems if you hold them upside down they just relax completely.

Fred,

For some reason, whisles innocently, pigeons don't land in my garden. So I'll keep a watch out.
