How we need to prepare

Forum will be on line tomorrow

The forum development has now finished and it is ready to go. It will be active for your use from 0830 BST tomorrow. A notice will be posted at that time with further details.

Feel free to browse the forum but it you want to participate fully you will have to register. This will enable you to create threads, reply to threads and take part in the polls. All part of the forum experience. There is an option for suggestions and help for any issues you have but it should be reasonably intuitive.

The forum system has been designed to complement this site. Posts on here can be discussed on the forums and when a conclusion is reached the data will be put on the upcoming Wiki for offline storage and perusal. Obviously there is a lot that can go straight into the Wiki that is already on this site. I’ll be looking at the Wiki in a few months when I get some time.

In the meantime I’m looking forward to a few interesting discussions on the forum. It is clear from here that we have differences of opinion on many things.

Hello SD, Thank you so much for all your effort. You have done an excellent job. I did not expect the forum to be up and running so quickly. Of course, I do not know anything about these things. Well done!

    Kenneth,

Setting it up is easy, a few hours. I sell hosting services professionally. Then configuring it to meet our requirements was simple enough, I have a lot technical experience, although not with BBs but I’m a quick learner. Changing the colours and the looks to fit in with the Survival UK scheme took the time although I thought it would take longer.
