OK. It is a bit late but to be honest the delay should not be an issue.
I’m going to make this a seperate web page linked on the top bars so this will probably not be the latest version by the time I’m finished. I’m still collating the many books I have.
Here is January’s tasks for Gardeners.
General Garden Work
- Clear dead tops and branches from plants
- Dig over soil to overweather
- Plant shrubs and trees
- Apply nitrogenous fertilizer to fruit trees and bushes grown in grass
- Harvest Parsnips, Swedes, Cabbage, Beet, Chard as needed
- Prune Apples and Pears
- Remove any left over fruits or those on ground
Greenhouse
- Wash and clean greenhouse
Indoor Work
- Plan your years seed choices
- Plant Herb seeds
