Handing over to You

I’ve not posted for a while now. Family life, work, busy in the woods and not got anything to add to what has gone on since I started this site. So I’m going to bite the bullet and accept that I’m not going to be posting regularly.

These sites have always been intended for new preppers to explore and learn from. As they will remain online that will still be the case. Feel free to browse and learn.

I’m not leaving so if there are any posts that I think are relevant I will post them and if you want to contact me then I am still available on my email address. If you have any posts that you think may be relevant to preppers send them to me and I’ll post them.

    We’ll wait with bated breath.

Thank you for all the work you put in SD , there’s loads of good stuff for newbies .

  • LAC

Likewise, thanks a lot. It’s not only the information made available, it’s the support of like minded people, and knowing you are not alone.

Agreed LAC, it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one out there who is planning ahead. SD, while I’m happy with the current system of sending a new thread or topic to you for you to post I wonder could you arrange it so that we can post threads and you occasionally moderate or comment rather then you carrying the whole weight of the website?
I’m finding out new things and in turn passing on information here in a way that I just couldn’t do locally without compromising my security, I would like to be able to continue.

  • well, that’s that then.

  • Thanks for your contributions over the years. It takes a lot of effort to run a site and share knowledge.

Thanks Rusty, People don’t appreciate how much time is spent on it. I just ran out of articles to write and that was the key in my decision. Just too busy to do the research necessary for new articles.

To be honest though the site was set up to help newbies and I think it is doing that so I’m happy. All files are there and free to all.

    Hello!
This is my first posting on this site.
I have been reading American sites for several years, but hadn’t found a British site that appeared stable.
    I hope I have now!
I’m going to spend some time getting to know the site and its contributors before I make a fool of myself…

Ceejay, welcome. I’ve not posted on here for ages but there is a huge wealth of information both in the forum and archived throughout this site. Feel free to get in touch if you want to ask questions.

The only dumb question is the one that you don’t ask…though you may get some dumb answers.
